wy'east summer academy

 Wy’east Middle School in O’dell, Oregon was a buzz with creative energy for three weeks this summer with 8 teaching artists on site to instruct 90 students in the arts.  From painting a large-scale mural to playing the ukulele, students experienced hours of art instruction while nibbling on fresh-picked blueberries from a local organic farm nearby.  Not a bad way to spend a summer afternoon!
