VOICES FROM THE LAND :: EAGLE CREEK FIRE
Hood River Middle School Science teacher, Adam Smith and teaching artists, Shelley Toon Lindberg and Chloë Hight worked with HRMS students to document the catastrophic Eagle Creek fire in the Gorge through the creation of a hand drawn stop motion animation film. This film is part of the Voices From the Land project, focusing on how climate change is affecting ecosystems and all living species throughout the world.
StoryGorge teaching artist, Sean O'Connor and teaching artist MacCrae Wylde inspired a group of students to connect with the natural world, build pollinator habitat sculptures and create a film in the process. Check it out! To learn more about StoryGorge,
