Haley Harkema's Hood River Valley High School senior English students worked with four teaching artists to create a digital story inspired by harrowing stories of human survival around the world. Using iPad minis borrowed from the Hood River Education Foundation's Ipad Project, the students created scripts with literary teaching artist, Leigh Hancock, art with visual teaching artists Kelsey Mosley and Shelley Toon Lindberg and brought all these elements together with media arts specialist, Katie Basile.
