Pamela LarsEN (she/her)

About the Artist

I am enchanted by the natural world and this passion manifests as paintings,  ink drawings, clay and nature sculptures. As a lifelong artist and teacher with over 30 years experience, trained in France, the States,  and China, I am excited to share creativity and self expression with students. I believe everyone

is an artist and that being creative is part of the  human spirit. I focus on the artistic process, not the  product. I am also trained in Expressive Nature-Based Art and Local Tribal History.

About THE ARTIST

Chinese Painting and Culture

I introduce students to the skills and aesthetics of Chinese Brush Painting within the context of Chinese Culture. Students learn how to work with the Chinese paint brush and with Chinese inks, creating Chinese inspired images of cats, birds, pandas, and blossoms. They experiment with stroke and tone to create interesting images. I also bring in culture items and teach a few Chinese Characters and words.
